Plastic is our material. Responsibility is our guiding principle. Perga produces PE films and packaging products – and does so by relying on certified energy management (ISO 50001), in-house regranulation of production waste, and verified recyclability of selected products. In addition, we support marine conservation and nature projects.

Plastic is not an end in itself – its use must serve a purpose. And that is precisely why we take our responsibility seriously: through improvements in energy and resource management in accordance with ISO 50001, through externally verified recyclability of selected products by the cyclos-HTP Institute (CHI), and through our support of projects that specifically protect the oceans and nature. Not because it is required – but because we believe it is the right thing to do.

Responsibility is demonstrated in practice. At Perga, this means taking concrete steps at every stage of production – from energy use to waste disposal.
- Reduction of CO2 emissions in product manufacture
- Secondary catalytic combustion of solvents
- Use of bioheat
- Waste water filtering
- Recycling of PE production waste
- Waste disposal must be handled exclusively by qualified specialized companies
Material cycle at Perga:
implemented internally and verified externally
At Perga, production-related PE material scraps are not disposed of but rather regranulated and returned to the material cycle. This allows valuable raw materials to be recovered.
For selected allfolin® products, recyclability is additionally certified by the cyclos-HTP Institute (CHI). Polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) are considered materials that can be sorted by type and are, in principle, recyclable in accordance with current minimum standards.
